La&nbsp;protecci\u00f3n&nbsp;de&nbsp;los&nbsp;denunciantes&nbsp;en&nbsp;la Uni\u00f3n Europea se ha&nbsp;convertido&nbsp;en&nbsp;un&nbsp;elemento&nbsp;central del&nbsp;marco&nbsp;jur\u00eddico&nbsp;destinado&nbsp;a&nbsp;salvaguardar&nbsp;el&nbsp;inter\u00e9s&nbsp;p\u00fablico&nbsp;y&nbsp;reforzar&nbsp;el&nbsp;Estado de&nbsp;Derecho. Las personas&nbsp;que&nbsp;denuncian&nbsp;infracciones&nbsp;como&nbsp;la&nbsp;corrupci\u00f3n,&nbsp;el&nbsp;fraude&nbsp;o&nbsp;el&nbsp;abuso&nbsp;de&nbsp;poder&nbsp;contribuyen&nbsp;directamente&nbsp;al&nbsp;cumplimiento&nbsp;de las&nbsp;normas&nbsp;jur\u00eddicas&nbsp;al&nbsp;sacar&nbsp;a la luz&nbsp;violaciones&nbsp;que, de&nbsp;otro&nbsp;modo,&nbsp;podr\u00edan&nbsp;pasar&nbsp;desapercibidas.
